I just wanted to take a minute and thank you and your entire staff for a wonderful car buying experience. Bob Giffin was our sales agent and he couldn't have been more helpful. He was kind, informative and very personable. Brett Files in financing was very professional and helpful as well. I couldn't forget to mention the lady who works in titling, she went out of her way when she was leaving work to go and find a sales agent to help us. I am so sorry I can't remember her name but she did introduce herself to us and was extremely kind and friendly.
Up until entering your dealership we had become very disgusted with our car shopping experience. We had been given the run around by several other dealerships and honestly I was about to give up. My husband and I were just so tired of playing the "car buying game." There were no games at Thomas, and that was so refreshing!
We came to Thomas Hyundai at 5:30 pm on Wednesday September 7, and test drove a 2012 Accent. We came back from the test drive and after talking with Bob had nothing but the upmost confidence in purchasing this car. Bob told us he would have the car ready for us the next day and he would call us when it was ready. He said it would probably be sometime around 11:00 am. Sure enough he called us about 10:00 am and told us to come in and pick up the car at 11:00. I can't believe after all that we had been through the last two weeks, that it was that easy. I will highly recommend your dealership to all my friends and family and will be a forever customer as long as the service department is as competent as your sales department.
Please let your staff know how appreciative we are for the help. We left there feeling like they were our friends. Our entire experience could not have been any better!

I would like to commend on an employee of sales in your dealership – Roman Spriggs. About a week ago I had just parked my Hyundai that I purchased at Thomas. I could not get the parking lights to go off no matter how I tried. It was about 5:00 p.m. and getting dark. I knew that I could not leave the car with the parking lights on, so I tried to call Thomas hoping that someone might still be there. I got Roman on line and he said “don’t worry, I will be out to help you”. He came out and somehow turned the lights out right away. I tried to pay him something, but he refused to take anything. I feel that in this world when we all complain about some things, that Roman’s actions displayed a wonderful act of kindness beyond his job. I wanted Thomas to know what he did and how grateful I am that he was there to help me, and I am happy I purchased my car from Thomas.

Dear Mr. Thomas,
We are writing to express our deep thanks and appreciation to the staff (sales and repair) of your Cumberland Subaru Dealership. This past Saturday driving up to Bedford Springs for lunch from our cabin near Paw Paw, WV, our 2003 Subaru Outback’s alternator/power steering belt broke somewhere around Martin’s Hill in Buchanan State Forest, at approximately 12:15 p.m. As we hobbled down the mountain with no power steering trying to get back to Cumberland, we called ahead to the Cumberland Subaru dealer. There, the staff, although the service and parts were officially closed, suggested a way for us to get the appropriate parts, and repair the car, even arranging transportation when it looked like the car could not be fixed until Monday. Ultimately, we were able to leave in our own car. Clint, the repair person, Carli, Mark and Roman, were all exceptional. Because of them a disaster turned into, well, a very positive experience. You should be proud of all these people. At some personal inconvenience, they all went above and beyond what could have been expected, and we are most grateful.
We are shortly to be in the market for a Subaru (6 cylinder), and let us say that your Cumberland dealership will definitely be one with which we will be in touch.
